Located on the south end Key Biscayne in Dade County, Florida. This Florida State Park has been nearly reinstated to its original state prior to development of the island. After hurricane Andrew in 1992, the park was completely devastated by the storm offering opportunity to replace exotic plants with native ones. As time has passed wildlife has also been returning to a more natural state. The park is a good location for locating migrating birds and vagrants from the Caribbean.
